At the baseball-themed Bruins of the Year event on April 23, 2026, Second Grade teacher Jennifer Revard was honored as Wayside's Teacher of the Year. She was introduced by students Natalie and Hailey Kent.
Sarah Jewett, who teaches Physical Education at Wayside, was recognized as Wayside's Rising Star Teacher, an award for teachers with one to four years of experience.
Special Education Paraprofessional Tony Moore was honored as Wayside's Classified Person of the Year.
Wayside First Grade teacher Jesseca Abbe was the Elementary Rookie Teacher of the Year.
