Good Evening, Wayside Patrons! This is just a friendly reminder that all Bartlesville schools will be in session this Friday, February 17th. At one time, the 17th was scheduled to be a Virtual Day. That was changed a few months ago. We will not be in session on Monday, February 20th. That day is a Professional In-Service Day. Students will not have any assignments to do nor will they have to log on for any virtual meetings on the 20th. And....We just wanted to say "Thank You" for continuing to support our students on the school bond proposal on February 14th! It is a great time to be a BRUIN!!!

Wayside is thrilled to announce our 2022-2023 Classified Person of the Year....Ms. April Hall! Ms. Hall is a Pre-K aide in Ms. Dyer's classroom. Classified Persons of the Year are nominated and voted on by other Classified Staff members. Congratulations, Ms. Hall! We are very proud of you!

Thank you, Bartlesville, for approving $38 million in bond issues to expand Wayside and Ranch Heights elementary schools and to help fund the district's technology, curricular, maintenance, and extracurricular programs through 2026-2027, all with no increase in the millage.

Please remember to vote today on two school bond issue questions. Regular polling places will be open until 7 p.m. If approved, bonds would replace older ones to be retired, maintaining the current property tax millage. Details at https://www.bps-ok.org/page/bruinbond.

Wayside students arrived to school today to the terrific tunes of the Bartlesville Bruin Brigade! What a wonderful way to start the day! Thank You, Mr. Koehn and Band Members!

Wayside's 1st Grade Classes did a great job leading our 100th Day of School Assembly last Friday. They sang a song, told some jokes, and counted all the way to 100! Our 1st Grade Teachers are Ms. Brzezinski, Ms. Caulkins, Ms. Riner, Ms. Sanderson and Ms. Swanson.
