We just wanted to say "Thank You" to Truity Credit Union for their donation of 15 new umbrellas at Wayside! We were badly in need of new ones! The new umbrellas will help keep our staff and students dry during student drop-off and pick-up. Thank you Truity for supporting BPS!

Children's Musical Theatre presents Finding Nemo Summer Camp for ages 7-16, May 22-July 10. cmtonstage.com
Check this out! Mrs. Revard's and Mrs. Gerber's 2nd grade classes participated in a "Measurement Olympics" to end their measurement unit. Students went head to head in several events including Paper Plate Discus, Straw Javelin Throw, Standing Long Jump, Trashketball, Cotton Ball Shot Put, and Marshmallow Golf. What a fun way to end the unit!
The annual Kiwanis Fishing Derby for ages 3-12 will be held on May 13 at 9 a.m. at Jo Allyn Lowe Park.

Wayside Patrons:
To help avoid long wait lines checking in through the Raptor system on Friday for the WPSA Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser Celebration assembly, we are encouraging our visitors to check-in early. Patrons may check-in throughout the week by coming by the school and going through the Raptor system process. Patrons will have their badge printed (AND as long as they keep their printed badge AND the date is between 4/10 and 4/14) they will be allowed to enter the school and attend the assembly without having to go through the Raptor system again. Patrons who choose this option will just have to show their previously printed badge to the office staff when they enter the lobby area.
